Robert Carter Oburn

Robert (Bob) Carter Oburn, 71, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 4, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but was raised in Carmel, Indiana where he achieved his Eagle Scout Rank with Troop 112 at the Carmel Lions Club. He raised his family in Fishers, Indiana and most recently lived with his wife in Noblesville, Indiana. Bob was proud to be a lifelong resident of Hamilton County. Bob co-owned Carmel Auto Parts in partnership with his brother for forty years. He worked with his son, Brandon, at Indiana Insurance Solutions for the past thirteen years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors. Bob will be dearly missed and always remembered as an amazing father, husband and best friend.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marsha Simon Oburn, brother Bill (Francie) Oburn, sons Brandon (Beth) Oburn and Wes (Angie) Oburn, granddaughters Lillian Oburn and Emerson Oburn, nephew Scott (Jessica) Oburn, niece Melissa (Mark) Lockridge, as well as many extended family members. Bob requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. Please join us in celebrating Bob’s life at the Hamilton County FOP 103 located at 7201 E 196th St, Noblesville on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
